- Appointments
- Please note that we kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours for rescheduling or cancelling an appointment with AP Podiatry.
- Failure to provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for a cancellation will incur a charge. Cancellations within 48 hours will be charged 50% of the treatment price. Cancellations on the day of treatment will be charged 100% of the treatment price.
- If you are running late for an appointment, please let us know as soon as you can. If you arrive later than 20 minutes after your appointment time, we will try to provide the treatment you have booked. However, if we decide we cannot provide that treatment safely, in the time remaining, then the appointment will be classed as ‘cancelled without notice’, the appointment will need to be rescheduled and a fee will be charged at 100% of the treatment price.
- If you fail to attend your appointment at all, this will be classed as a ‘no show’ and a fee will be charged at 100% of the treatment price.
- If, due to exceptional circumstances including, but not limited to, illness, accidents, bereavement, and adverse weather conditions, you cancel an appointment without giving us at least 48 hours notice, we will consider the circumstances and at our discretion, decide whether to waive any charges for a late cancellation.
- We may cancel an appointment booked by you at any time before the time and date of that appointment in the following circumstances:
-
- The required staff and/or the required materials necessary for the provision of the services are not available.
- An event outside of our reasonable control continues for more than 24 hours.
- If we do cancel an appointment then we will offer you another appointment date, or refund you any advance payment that you have made for that appointment.
- We will endeavour to start your treatment at the appointment time that you have booked, but the start time may be delayed by an overrun of a previous appointment or by other circumstances out of our control. If a delay to the start time of your appointment is at least 25 minutes, or if at any time before or after you arrive for an appointment, we notify you that there will be a delay of at least that time which causes an inconvenience to you, then you may cancel the appointment and we will refund you any advance payment that you have made.
